More progress on the foots. This is a bathroom mat I found at Wal-Mart for the rubber soles of my shoes. Unfortunately there were these suction cups, so it took some time removing all of them.
Man, look at that artistic shot, low f range, glorious suction cup, and a whole lot of shadow.
The first cutout.
Yea!
A rollcage is delivered. I basically took the cut ends of armature wire and impaled them into the cork, and poured glue into the hole. Creating a fatter tip on the foot is the goal, but not too exaggerated since I have to humanoid the costume up.
The finished cage.
On my feet.
Another shot, closer.
Yea, so the pictures are redundant, but I enjoyed the look the shoes had at the time. Plus I was testing comfort and everything went better than expected.
I walked into the room after a break and I looked at my shoes from another angle. "Damn those shoes are intimidating."
My first claw out of sculpey.
Another shot, much cooler looking here.
More progress, I baked the first claw for some reason.
All claws done, baked, and glued on. Time to work on some structure and order the fur! Yay, two projects done way ahead of schedule.
The Giver's epic project, completing a very accurate cosplay costume of the epic Warcraft Hero. As well as hilarity, it will ensue.

Get up you son of a bitch.
Oh look, it's my sandals getting sandalfied. This is me just testing the strap.
Without my feet, you can see the markings.
A side view.
I cut out the hole for the reentry point, and I'm just measuring length and fit here.
The other side.
A shot from underneath.
Finished with both straps, and cut out the holes for the other part. I don't know my shoe terminology, but that part does things!
I have a bromantic relationship with my hot glue gun.
After testing the sandal out, I noticed I was having a lot of trouble putting it on, and considering I need to put it on while access to the straps is blocked, I threaded some thread through it to scrunch it up.
The finito project.
Another shot.
So I wanted to go get the old machine a tuning, but when I mentioned it to my mother, she was like "OH HEY, I have another one. Look at this thing, it's never been used, brand new, sexy as a vixen.
The straps with my new and improved sewing machine. Twas a breeze to do.
The other sandal in the works.
Both finished and on my feet, the sandals need to be broken into, right now I'm lasting an hour in them before my feet start to get sore. They'll groove, or they die.
So I'm in the third week of P90x now, shit's so cash. I finally hit 280 today, and I feel stronger and better than ever before.
